Marcelo Ribeiro
Marcelo Ribeiro is a mining engineer and president of the Belmont Group in Brazil. He is third-generation in this family corporation that operates across the mining, construction, real estate and agricultural sectors. Under his leadership Belmont Emeralds has grown to become a benchmark in the industry due to its responsible and state-of-the-art mining operation. Mr. Ribeiro has been in the board of directors of IBGM - the Brazilian Gems and Jewellery Trade Association for 4 years and an active member of the ICA - International Colored Gemstones Association for 15 years. In ICA he has served in several positions such as a voting Director for 6 years and as Advisor to the Board for 3 years.
