Director of the Colored gemstone Division at Bonas Group
Tim Denning studied Management at Royal Holloway College, University of London, before joining Bonas Group in 1999 as a trainee diamond broker in London. Over the following two decades, he specialized in consulting for diamond sightholders in their relationships with De Beers. As Bonas Group expanded into gemstone tenders, Tim took the lead in managing colored gemstone tenders, initially in Hong Kong and later in Bangkok. Today, Tim runs the Colored Gemstones division at Bonas Group, overseeing rough gemstone tenders for six prominent private miners, including Belmont Emeralds, Gemrock, and Potentate Mining, as well as cut and polished gemstone tenders. With a focus on advancing the industry, Tim is committed to providing sustainable market routes for miners in a sector he believes lags behind diamonds by at least two decades.
