Rodrigo Rollemberg is the Deputy Minister for Green Economy, Decarbonization, and Bioindustry at Brazil’s Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce, and Services (MDIC). A historian and career public servant, he has held various elected offices, including Governor and Senator for the Federal District. In his current role, he leads Brazil’s sustainable industrial transition, coordinating strategic initiatives such as the National Circular Economy Plan and the National Bioeconomy Commission to position Brazil as a global leader in the green and bio-based economy.
