Carla Christina Fernandes Pinheiro is Vice President of Institutional Relations at the Brazilian Gems and Jewellery Trade Association (IBGM) and President of Art Lev jewellery industry. She also serves as President of the Association of Jewelers and Watchmakers of the State of Rio de Janeiro (AJORIO) and leads two employers' unions in the jewelry sector, Sindijoias and Sincajor. Carla is Secretary Director and Chair of the Women in Industry Council at Firjan (Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro), board member at Fecomércio RJ (Federation of Commerce of the State of Rio de Janeiro), and at Lide Rio.She previously chaired the Board of SEBRAE RJ (Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service – Rio de Janeiro branch) and the Audit Committee of AgeRio, the state's development agency.
