Starting from April 10th, 2025, passport holders from Australia, Canada, and the United States will require a visa for entry into Brazil. There is a website for e-Visa and all information can be found here: https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/
Indian passport holders
For participation in the aforementioned congress, we recommend applying for a Business Visa (VIVIS – Business). A checklist with the required documentation for this visa category can be found here. (Aqui)
Please note that particular attention should be given to the invitation letter requirement. This letter must be digitally signed through the gov.br platform (other types of digital signatures will not be accepted). The invitation letter should detail the purpose of the trip and the activities to be undertaken, as well as specify any travel funding provided by the inviting company.
Once all the necessary documents are gathered, applications can be scheduled individually in the e-consular system (e-consular), as explained in the step-by-step guide available on our website (passo a passo). It is advisable to submit the application and schedule the appointment at least one month prior to the trip to avoid any inconvenience due to unforeseen circumstances.
After the passport is submitted to the Embassy, visas are typically issued within 5 business days on average.
